With cold weather season beginning it’s essential for every fashionista to have an amazing coat to bundle up in. This season the camel coat is having a major fashion moment. Seen on everyone from Kim Kardashian to Jennifer Lawrence, the timeless neutral is so versatile and can be paired with nearly everything. It also adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit.

I am in LOVE with this style. So chic and sophisticated, yet so effortless. The cinched waist is extremely flattering, plus with short and long versions there is a perfect fit for everyone. Not to mention, the thick wool will keep you cozy and warm!

Peacoat
Peacoats are a classic style, and I love the lengths and variations within the style. This is perfect for a less dramatic (?) effect. If you tend to shy away from “trendy” styles and statement pieces, this would be a better option when compared to the belted waist style. Trench
Trench coats make me think of classic films – specifically the final scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. This style is timeless and comes in various fabrics, so the coat can be heavy and warm or lightweight – for you lucky readers who live somewhere warmer during the fall and winter months.

Steal Her Style: Selena Gomez’s Pop of Color

Now this is how to make a pop of color work for fall! Selena Gomez recently stepped out in style in this bright red-orange duster and gray jean combo. I’m in love with the duster, but sadly the piece from Lela Rose isn’t up for grabs just yet. (The designer has yet to release the collection to the public.) Until that moment comes, we’ll just have to rock this re-creation instead. Denim Dream

One of my favorite pieces in my closet is my chambray shirt. It’s classic, lightweight and extremely easy for layering. As we head into the fall season — fall fashion is my favorite, bring on the cozy oversized sweaters — I thought it would be a great time to show you how to wear this piece in a way that is sometimes daunting to fashion lovers, the double denim look.
This look is so chic and the statement accessories pop – I love to include leopard print whenever I can. Denim on denim can be   a tricky combo, but it’s totally achievable without looking frumpy. The key is using different shades of denim. This chambray shirt is a shade or two lighter than the jeans, so it doesn’t look monochromatic. We kept the look simple with the leopard shoes and incorporated gold and black pieces. This look is perfect for a casual day out or even when you want to look put together when running between classes on campus!

Steal Her Style: Kendall Jenner’s Fringe Flair

2015 is definitely the year of the supermodel. Originally in the ’90s we had names like Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. Today we have Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevnigne, just to name a few. With new model style icons comes must-see celebrity street style! Kendall Jenner recently stepped out in this ensemble that featured western and ’70s inspiration. Her large-buckle western inspired belt has been seen this summer in many of Jenner’s outfits and even on other celebs like Selena Gomez, and we found the exact one. Her fringe bag and suede boots are also on-trend for the fall season – we found the exact bag and River Island booties that are a replica for Jenner’s Saint Laurent booties.

Beyoncé X Flash Tattoos

One of the hottest accessories this season has been temporary tattoos, specifically metallic ones that can take place of a piece of jewelry. Today, Flash Tattoos, the leading brand in jewelry inspired temporary tattoos, announced and released their collaboration with the one and only, Beyoncé.

Co-designed by Queen Bey herself, the set features 5 sheets of metallic tattoos with designs that include BB guns and holsters, bees and honeycomb cuffs, beehive flower motifs, ornate ankle and bracelets bands, phrases from her lyrics, like “Naughty Girl” and “Flawless,” and a set of necklaces with “Diva” and “Flawless” printed on them. The designs are in an array of metallic silver, gold and black, and can be used together or stand alone.

In a statement about working with Beyoncé, Flash Tattoos founder Miranda Burnet said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Beyoncé to the Flash family! Working with her has been incredible — she brought really original and beautiful ideas. We came up with a pack that we are all really proud of and excited to wear. The collection is an edgier take on traditional jewelry — we wanted to focus on making a strong and empowering statement with the designs that embodied Beyoncé — fierce, fabulous, and flawless!”

Maximum Style : Your Guide to Maxi Dresses

Summer style is all about effortless looks and flowing fabrics. Maxi dresses have made a serious comeback this season and everyone is getting in on the trend. Recently while shopping someone had suggested that I try the style on and I shyed away from the offer. I’m barely 5’3″ how could a floor-skimming dress possibly work for my height? Maxi dresses, however, can be flattering on every shape and size. It just takes some knowledge of prints and waist styles to pull off this breezy look this summer. Let’s get started.

Petite: Search for a higher waistline to create the look of height and when using prints opt for smaller prints.

I feel like the way to go for a petite shape is high-low. The length isn’t too overwhelming but you still get the look of a maxi dress style. To create even more height opt for a higher waistline like the one used by Lush in their ‘Tulip Hem Maxi Dress.‘ Available in white, peach, light pink, pastel turquoise and black, and on sale now from Nordstrom for $25.20.

Pear: Seek out a color-blocked dress with a darker shade on the bottom half to get a slimming look

Hourglass: Show off your curves with a cinched waist and flared skirt.

I’m in love with this ‘Shoreside Vision Green Backless Maxi Dress’ from Lulu’s. I myself am petite, but I also have an hourglass figure and it’s taken a while but I’m finally learning how to dress for my shape. Busty: Opt for a V-neck style, the cut will flatter your body by not widening your chest.

Steal Her Style: Supermodel Off Duty, Gigi Hadid

One of my favorite style icons, Gigi Hadid, recently stepped out in this model-off-duty look and I knew that I had to have it  (or at least recreate it). The cerulean jacket is to die for, but sadly enough the Elizabeth and James ‘Corlyn’ Leather Moto Jacket is sold out everywhere, a real bummer since the $245 price tag was steep but not completely out of reach. With this look, I swapped the bright blue jacket, for a navy blue style to offer a similar look that is perfect for a casual day out, when you still want to add some edge to your style. Fall Denim Preview

As we make our way toward the end of the summer, we also get closer to football season, crisp leaves, cozy sweaters, and pumpkin-flavored everything. To me, fall also means new jeans. Denim jeans are timeless, but every year designers and stylists create new ways to wear this staple piece. Distressed Jeans

Add some edge to any look with distressed jeans. I’m not a huge fan of gaping holes, but I do love the look of frayed seams, razored denim and exposed threads and rips. Express’s Medium Wash Girlfriend Jean, has no holes, just exposed threads and ripped patches, and they feature a wider leg, and an ankle length. Paint Splattered

In addition to the distressed trend, paint splattered jeans are also a hot style this fall. Some pairs can offer a splash of color, or a pop of white to your outfit. I love the messy, worn-in look and it shows off your inner creative side. My favorite pair, ASOS’s Dr. Denim Plenty Ankle Skinny Jeans With Paint Splash, are available for $82.00 and have white paint splatters that contrast with darker blue paint against the medium wash.

I’ve always found high-rise skinny to look best on my petite frame, so comfortable and I love the look when paired with a tucked white tee and a comfy oversized sweater. I’m also a huge fan of very dark, almost black, jean washes so this pair is a dream. Lucky Brand’s Olivia Skinny Jean is absolutely perfect, and if you can afford the $99.00 go for it.

Girlfriend Style

Nothing says cool, comfortable and relaxed like a good pair of boyfriend or girlfriend jeans. Girlfriend styles will be more feminine and fitted as opposed to boyfriend jeans, but both styles are hot this season and feature a wider leg. Our go-to for this style is BP’s Girlfriend Jeans. A looser, relaxed fit plus a dark distressed denim at $62.00.

Fitted Overalls  

Yes, yes, yes! A favorite of mine as a child in the nineties, denim overalls or dungarees are getting a major style update! Keep it on-trend by ensuring the style is fitted, with either skinny or flared legs and pair with a crop top to avoid the farmer feel.

Las Rebeldes, Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s latest collab with PacSun, is officially online and in store!
